Route description

A rewarding road loop from Southam heading south through Harbury and into the quiet border lanes towards Eydon, Byfield and the gentler countryside beyond. The route crosses into Northamptonshire for its café stop at Ccrumbs in Eydon — a small, friendly independent village café with a relaxed courtyard, excellent cakes and proper bike parking. Expect rolling lanes, open farmland and very little traffic on the approach roads; with around 730 metres of climbing over 64 kilometres it is the hilliest loop in the guide, so treat it as a steady half-day ride rather than a flat café spin.
