Warwick Loop – Garden Shed Café Stop

46 km distance359 m climb

A varied road loop from Warwick into the surrounding countryside, linking quiet villages and rolling lanes before stopping at The Garden Shed Café. The route is fully paved and well suited to a social café ride, with enough gentle climbing to keep it interesting without being demanding. Expect a mix of rural Warwickshire scenery, open farmland and sheltered lanes. The Garden Shed makes a natural mid-ride break before the return to Warwick.

Stratford Greenway Route

78.8 km distance555 m climb

A longer Warwickshire loop built around the Stratford Greenway, heading out through quiet lanes before picking up the traffic-free Greenway section around Stratford, Milcote and Long Marston. The route is around 49 miles, so it is best treated as a steady half-day ride rather than a short café spin. The obvious café stop is The Garden Shed Café in Wellesbourne, which sits at roughly the halfway point of the ride and makes the most practical place to pause before heading back. The Greenway section gives the route a different feel from a pure road loop, with a flatter, traffic-free stretch through the Stratford corridor before the route returns to the lanes. In wet weather, the end of the Greenway can become waterlogged and may be awkward on a road bike, although the rest of the route is road-based. Other Ride Coffee Return stops nearby include Bobby’s Café at the Stratford Greenway end, Milcote Café on the Greenway, and Espresso Barn around Long Marston.
