First impression

Majic Barn Café has a relaxed countryside feel. It is not a polished high-street café or a traditional cycling café, but that is part of the appeal. It feels informal, quiet and well suited to riders using the Lias Line Greenway. The setup is simple but useful: coffee, cake, ice cream, breakfast or lunch-style food, with indoor and outdoor seating and a quiet rural setting. It feels like somewhere to roll into mid-ride rather than somewhere you need to make a big plan around.

The ride there

The big advantage here is that you can access Majic Barn Café directly from the Lias Line Greenway. That makes it a really useful stop if you are riding from Long Itchington, Southam, Offchurch or linking the Greenway into a longer Warwickshire loop. The only thing to be aware of is the ramp down from the Greenway to the café. It is a little steep, so I would get off and walk down rather than trying to ride it, especially in cleats or if the surface is damp. For newer riders, family rides or anyone wanting a more relaxed traffic-free section, the Greenway makes this a very approachable café stop. It is less of a classic road-cycling destination and more of a practical, countryside stop that works naturally with the route.
